The Center for Health Policy and Management of FK-KMK UGM in collaboration with the Indonesian Health Policy Network held the X National Forum for the Indonesian Health Policy Network (Fornas JKKI) 2020 with the theme “Utilization of the Health System Dashboard (DaSK): Monitoring and Evaluation of JKKN, KIA, and Stunting Policies for Strengthening the Health System in the Era of the COVID-19 Pandemic “which took place with a series of activities on November 5 – 20 2020. On Tuesday, November 10 2020 at 08.30 – 12.45 WIB a seminar with 2 nutrition subtopics was held. Those were “The Support for Health System Dashboard (DaSK)” and “The Use of Periodic Data to Strengthen the Health System in the Pandemic Era of COVID-19 for Stunting and Nutrition related Public Policy”. The seminar was held through zoom meetings and live streams. It was moderated by Digna N. Purwaningrum, PhD. There were also some keynote speakers.
Dr. Siti Helmyati, DCN., M.Kes., as the Chairperson of the UGM Center for Health and Human Nutrition, was one of the speakers who discussed the “Mechanism of the Impact of Covid-19 on the Community Nutrition Program”. The conclusion of her presentation were:
- The Covid-19 pandemic has an impact on nutrition program services: input, process and output
- Districts / cities continue to implement the 8 integrated stunting reduction action program and there is no budget reallocation
- There should to be a program to mitigate the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on community nutrition problems
- It is necessary to strengthen the understanding of the importance of a monitoring program as a basis for formulating policies, regarding for recovery programs due to the Covid-19 pandemic or other programs
